code, which the customer receives If he buys the program he can use it as light or full version.
Otherwise, the program can used as a Demo version.

Notes:
- The Unicode version was developed to support also languages like Japanese, Chinese etc.
- The Unicode version can be installed parallel with the none Unicode version (see below).
- The Swiss-manager file extensions were changed:
from TUN to TUNx (Single-Swiss-System)
from TUR to TURx (Single-round robin)
from TUM to TUMx (Team-Swiss-System)
from TUT to TUTx (Team-round robin)
- The Unicode version can read the previous Swiss manager files (*.tun, *.tur, *.tut, *.tum). Vice versa it is not possible.
- During reading the file extension is automatically changed
to *.TU*x.
- Swiss-Manager upload and Chess-Results.com were changed to support unicode.

Changes to the normal (=none Unicode) Version from 27.10.2009
The unicode version is with the version of the 27.10.20099 functionally identically with the following changes:
- The tournaments and ratinglists are now saved under "My documents\SwissManagerUniCode\...".
- New main-menu "Rating lists".
- Now up to 10 additional unicode ratinglists can be imported (in Excel format 97-2003).
- The predefined lists NAT, AUT, FIDE, GER, ESP were not changed. (support no unicode)
- In the tournament dialog the Tie-Break Optiongroup was removed.
- New Tie-Break "Sonneborn-Berger-Tie-Break (variable)[52]".
- New menu item "Internet/Login Online-Registration on Chess-Results.com". A handbook is under
http://chess-results.com/AnmeldungSpez.aspx available.
- New menu item "Rating lists/Update SVK-Eloliste".

- The FIDE-ratinglist can easy updated with the new menue item "internet/Update FIDE-ratinglist" direct from the FIDE homepage.
- The AUT-ratinglist 26.07.2010 (last change: 8.0.0.171) can easy updated with the new menue item "internet/Update AUT-ratinglist" direct from the Swiss-Manager Homepage.
- Tip: It is possible to import a (national) ratinglist on basis of an Excelfiles. A sample Excel-file is available on my Homepage under
http://swiss-manager.at/unload/NationalRatings.xls.

If activated the rating performance rp is calculated for players without FIDE-rating as follows:
For player with more than 50%: Rp = Ra + 12.5 for every half point above 50%
For player with 50%: Rp = Ra
For player with less than 50%: Rp = Ra + dp (dp corresponding Table 10.1.a see FIDE-Homepage "02. FIDE Rating Regulations (Qualification Commission))
